If that’s you, you’re not weird, late, or “bad at marketing.” We're massage therapists, not talk-show hosts.
(And hey - we rub naked people for a living, which I think is fair to say a LOT of people would be scared to do!)
But good news: you can build a steady, rebooking-friendly presence without turning your front camera into a confessional.
Here are 7 ways to show up without showing your face (steal one today):
- Hands-only:
Fold towels, set the table warmer, line up cups, pour oil, etc. 10 seconds is plenty.
- Room tour + text overlay:
A calm pan of your space with one tip on screen: “Today’s focus: neck tension relief.”
- Before/after sentences:
“Client came in with [symptom]. After session: [result/feeling].” (No photos needed.)
- FAQ graphic:
Answer one client question you hear weekly.
- Voiceover without face:
Record your space, add a 1-line voiceover: “3 reasons your traps stay tight.”
- Caption-first posts:
Use a strong still photo (room, tools, nature) and let the caption carry the value.
Want to ease into camera gently? Try starting with Stories (instagram or FB). They only last 24 hours and then they disappear, so it can feel a little less scary to show up in person.
You don’t have to be the star of your marketing. Just the steady guide your clients can trust.
