Boost Trust with Simple Bio Tweaks

Hi Reader,

I saw a post in a massage Facebook group recently where someone said something like: “It cringes me out when therapists post how many years they’ve been doing massage.” (Maybe you saw this same post, it was in a large group... I usually try to avoid FB groups and this particular post was a great reminder as to why.) 😝

And hey, I get where they’re coming from... I think? The OP was referring to MTs mentioning it to other MTs in conversation that maybe didn't necessary warrant it. BUT... the thread went on to include others commenting things like "when I read the bio and one of the first things I see is 'I've been an LMT for 20+ years' I just move on."

Really?

Here’s the thing 👇
Marketing isn’t about impressing your peers.
It’s about building trust with your potential clients.

And to a potential client?
“20+ years of experience” = reassurance
“Over 1,000 sessions” = credibility

💡 These are called credibility markers. They help people feel safe investing their time, energy, and money with you.

So if you’ve been hiding your experience because you’re worried it sounds like bragging… You’re leaving value on the table!

Your numbers aren’t about ego.
They’re evidence. Use them. 🔥
