Afraid you'll sound like a robot?
Hey Reader, There’s a lot of talk about automation and AI making life easier, and it can be a super helpful... especially for us independent MTs who are doing everything from toilets to taxes. But if you’ve ever worried, “My marketing won't sound like me if I didn't write it"... You're not alone. Here are 3 ways to make plug-and-play content sound more like you (without spending hours rewriting everything): 1. Tweak to the way you normally talkTake a quick pass through the caption and swap in words or phrases you would actually say to a client. Would you say “bodywork” or “massage”? “Clients” or “my people”? “Self-care” or “pain relief”? Plug in words and phrases IRL, those small shifts go a long way in making it sound natural. 2. Add a short personal noteEven just one sentence at the top or bottom like, “This comes up a lot in my sessions, especially with runners.” …or… “This is something I’ve been reminding myself of, too.” makes it feel like you’re showing up, not just sharing content. 3. Match it to your routineIf the OP mentions booking a massage every 4 weeks but you typically recommend 2 weeks, tweak it. Or if the example is about shoulder tension but your clients mostly deal with low back pain, swap it out. Make the content match the work you actually do. It’ll feel truer to your voice and resonate more with your clients. The goal isn’t to rewrite everything, just to give it a little you-ness. It doesn’t have to be fancy, just real. Try reading it out loud, does it feel like something you'd actually say? Free Template This Week:Here's a perfect example where you can tweak this to fit your work and voice more! You can switch out the text and/or put your own pic in the background. Some inspo:
